Better than cement
Most of the gypsum plastering materials available in the market today are subjected to numerous quality tests so that when they dry, they become like cement. There are no cracks or crevices. Moreover, its bonding power is higher than that of cement. Its Fixable nature has been shown to resist small movements of buildings. Based on BS 874: 1973 appendix-c testing, it has been found that gypsum plaster has a high degree of heat resistance, thereby reducing energy consumption. Like the cement plastering on the wall surface where gypsum plaster is used, it does not need to be watered as it is re-watered to get more firmness. Gypsum plaster can save a considerable amount of cost, workload and water. As contained in cement Plaster Of Paris can be completely vacated.
